Gerald Lee (Jerry) Foxworth was born on April 25, 1939, and passed from this life on June 11, 2023. Jerry was a lifelong resident of Jacksonville, Florida. He graduated from Andrew Jackson High School in 1957 and earned his bachelor's degree from Jacksonville University in 1972.  On August 12, 1960, Jerry married the love of his life, Judy Wollitz (Wallace). Jerry worked for several years at Skinner's Dairy but most of his working years were at Arlington Toyota where, with a cigar in his mouth and a ball cap on his head, he put thousands of folks in a new or used Toyota. Jerry's wry sense of humor would leave you laughing or wondering if you should be insulted, but it was always good natured and friendly. In his spare time, Jerry loved to work in his yard or watch any football game, even more so if he had a bet on it. In the late 1950's Jerry served with the Jacksonville Beach Volunteer Life Saving Corps and never lost his love for the ocean. Almost every vacation was spent at the beach and in the ocean. In the last several years Jerry suffered from Alzhiemiers disease.  Despite the challenges posed by his disease, he was happy as long as he had a Pepsi, a western or Sponge Bob on TV and his Judy close by. Jerry is survived by his wife, Judy of 62 years, his son, Mark Foxworth (Mary), and his son Greg Foxworth (Gina), his daughter Jennifer Billock (Rob) and his brother, John Richard (Dick) Foxworth. Jerry also leaves behind five grandchildren, Ashleigh Chafton (Joey), Kimberly Cavender (Casey), Suzanne Hale (Aaron), Gregory Foxworth and Andrew Goethe and sixteen great grandchildren.

Jerry will be cremated, and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
