Obituary of Gladys Reid

Gladys Mina Reid passed away on November 23, 2012. She was born July 9, 1926 in Gilmore, FL. She was a lifelong member of Ft. Caroline United Methodist church, where she worked at the church thrift shop. She retired from Blue Cross and Blue Shield and then enjoyed travelling.

Survived by daughters Susan (Jim) Coleman and Judy (Calvin) Craven; grandchildren, Chris (Pablo) Coleman, Dawn Coleman, Adam (Andrea) Coleman, Sara (Jason) Lee, Spencer (Holli) Craven; great grandchildren Isaac Coleman, Ryann Craven, and Kaylin Lee; siblings Gloria (Ed) Malin, Bobby (Janet) Sikes, Pat (Rodney) Bodway, Jeanne Bennett and sister in law Genny Sikes and also a beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her great granddaughter Reese Craven; brother, Buddy Sikes; sister, Jackie Lochridge, and in- laws Jimmy Bennett and Bert Lochridge, Sr. No flowers please, as Mama always said they made her sneeze. Donations can please be given instead to March of Dimes in remembrance of great granddaughter Reese.

Graveside services will be held at Greenlawn Cemetery on Tuesday, November 27th at 10a.m. officiated by Carl Wiggins.
