Gladys Marie Stanford, aged 89, known by her family and friends as "Marie", passed away on February 9, 2018 at Brookdale Memory Care, in Winter Haven, Florida.  Marie was born June 5, 1928 in Jacksonville, Florida to William Alfred Shular and Clara Alean (Gammons) Shular.

Marie is survived by her five children, James (Jane), Michael (Lynn), Larry (Tracy), Theresa (Dwight) and Patricia; nine grandchildren, Jennifer, Jamie, Lorraine, Michael Jr, Anthony, Harley, Alexander, Benjamin, and Sean; numerous great grandchildren; and one sister, Janet Owens.

In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by her husband, L.A. Stanford; five brothers, and three sisters.

Viewing will be at 11:00 am to 12:00 noon on Friday, February 16, 2018 at Arlington Park Funeral Home.  A graveside service will be held at Arlington Park Cemetery at 12:30 pm on Friday, February 16, 2018.
