Grace H. Gaskin, born on March 8,1931, in Surrency, Georgia to J. Woodard Holland and Lula Turner Holland, peacefully went home to be with her Savior on January 28, 2025 at the age of 93.

Grace was predeceased by her beloved husband, John E. Gaskin, five sisters and two brothers. She is lovingly remembered by her brother, J. Ed Holland, and numerous nieces and nephews who cherished her wisdom, warmth and unwavering love.

As a young woman, Grace began her career with AT&T in Baxley, Ga, before relocating to Jacksonville, FL in 1950 where she continued her work until her well-earned retirement in 1988. Throughout her life, Grace was a proud and active member of Terry Parker Baptist Church, where her faith and dedication were a testament to her character.

Grace's zest for life was evident in the joy she found in spending time with family, ballroom dancing and traveling. Her vibrant spirit and kind heart left an indelible mark on all who knew her.

Her family and friends celebrate her remarkable life, grateful for the many precious memories she leaves behind. Grace's legacy of love, faith and joy will forever be cherished.

A visitation will be Monday, February 3, 2025 at 11 AM at Terry Parker Baptist Church,  7024 Merrill Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32277. A funeral service honoring Grace's life will be held on Monday, February 3, 2025, at 11:30 AM Terry Parker Baptist Church. Internment will immediately follow the service at Arlington Park Cemetery, 6920 Lone Star Road Jacksonville, FL 32211.
