Obituary of Grace Kendrick

Grace Lee Kendrick passed away June 12th at the Hadlow Community Hospice Hospital at the age of 77. Grace was born February 2nd 1938 to John Henry Johnson and Louise McDowell Conant. Grace is survived by her husband Alton L Smith and her 5 surviving children in order of age George Vaughn Jr & his wife Mary Jo Vaughn, Tammy Lee Bess, Alton Leroy Smith Jr, Renetta Faye Smith, Betty Jo Bragalone & her husband Chris Bragalone. Grace is also survived by three siblings, Pamela Faye Barlow & her husband Gary Barlow, George Conant, Dennis Conant & his wife Jessica Conant. Grace is loved and survived by a large family that will miss her dearly, including her Grandchildren Robert Anderson, Autumn Graham, Victoria Murphy Smalley who are the children of her daughter Judith Freeman Graham that was predeceased on Nov. 10, 1985. Grace also mourned the loss of a daughter named Catherine Iona Vaughn Born March 16, 1959 Cathy was predeceased on November 24, 1961 before most of the survived children had the opportunity to know her, but we all knew this daughter Cathy always remained very close moms heart. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jaimie Lee Bess-Durbin, Brittney Bess, Matthew Smith, Christopher Bragalone, Michael Bragalone, Angela Vaughn, Jenna Vaughn & Great Grandchildren Breanna Graham, Owen Earich, Kandis Smalley, Summer Smalley & Ryan Smalley. She was also survived by her dearest and closest friend who is also known as one of her sisters to most who knew them, Catherine Dillingham. She is and always will be a significant part of this family. Grace was loved by many including numerous extended family friends that are to numerous to list.
