Obituary of Gregory Newton

Gregory A. Newton, 55, entered into rest on January 27, 2012. He was born on July 20, 1956 in Ft. Campbell, KY. Greg had retired from the City of Jacksonville after 25 years of dedicated service. He enjoyed football, snow skiing, relaxing in the Keys and traveling with his family. He is preceded in death by his mother, Loretta Osten. He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife of 24 years, Rosie Newton; children, Jennifer Newton, Jason Abbey, and Travis Newton; grandson, Camryn Abbey, sister, Kathy Lancaster and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Family will receive friends on Friday, February 3, 2012 from 6-8:00pm at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Rd., Jacksonville, FL. The funeral will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at 11:00am at the funeral Home. Interment will follow immediately at Arlington Park Cemetery.
