Obituary of Hampton Hilton

Hampton "Stan" Stanley Hilton, 64, went home to be with Jesus on Monday, December 10, 2012 at the VA hospital in Gainesville , Florida . Stan was born on August 12, 1948 in Jacksonville , FL to Midge and Ham Hilton. Stan attended Wolfson High School and graduated in 1966, where he made lifelong friends. Shortly after graduating from High School, Stan proudly served his country in the Vietnam War. Stan is preceded in death by his father, Ham Hilton and brother Howland Hilton. He is survived by his son, Jason (Sonya) Hilton; daughter, Pamela Hilton; mother Midge and stepfather, Delmas White. Always close to his heart, was his mother in law, Almeta Williams and dear friend, Frank Horton. We are confident that he is absent from his body and present with the Lord, 2 Corinthians 5:8. A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 14, 2012 at Arlington Park Cemetery , 6920 Lone Star Road , Jacksonville , FL at 2:30 with Pastor Milton Dykes officiating.
