Obituary of Harold Bailey

Mr. Harold "Sonny" F. Bailey Jr., 76, entered into rest on October 18, 2013. He was born on April 1, 1937 in Detroit, MI to the late Harold and Ellen Bailey. He was drafted in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. After receiving an honorable discharge, he went on to have a career as a crane operator. He retired from Adcom Wire after over twenty years of dedicated service. Harold enjoyed watching Nascar, western movies and shows, and vacations to Disney World. He is preceded in death by his companion, Dorothy Robey and brothers, Bill Bailey and John Bailey. He leaves to cherish his memories, stepson, Stephen Schmidt; stepdaughters, Denise Kleman and Penny Piercy; godson, Justin (Shannon) Taylor; grandson, Brayden Taylor; nephew, Kevin Bailey; nieces, Michelle Farmer, Corinne Dean, and Cindy Ashley; granddaughter, Jessica (Ryan) Holzbaur; grandson, Spencer Kleman; cousins, Dave (Marie) Kenny and Betty Kenny; numerous extended family and friends. A visitation will be held on Monday, October 28, 2013 from 6-8:00pm at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, FL. Harold's funeral will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at 2:00pm in the chapel of the funeral home, with Reverend Jim Black officiating. Interment will follow in Arlington Park Cemetery.
