Harolyn was born in Barberville Florida to the late Harold Morrison and Emma Mears. She moved to Jacksonville Florida at a very early age where she resided until her death. She attended Landon High School and was employed for many years with the State of Florida, and retired from the Burger King corporation.

Harolyn loved her family, college football, and all things Nascar.

Harolyn leaves behind three children, Donnie Matthews (Claudia), Jo Hayes (Kerry) and Samantha Easter (Bill). Seven grandchildren and three Honorary grandchildren along with 9 great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held September 21, 2024 at 10:00 am at the First Baptist Church of Barberville, 200 W Broad St., Barberville, FL and will be laid to rest in the Barberville Midway Cemetery. There will be a lunch for those who wish to attend at Cooks Buffet, 704 Woodland Blvd., Deland, FL 32720
