Harry H Fry
October 18,1927- December 12,2022

Harry H Fry, 95, son of Doyle and Bertha Fry, was born on October 18, 1927 in Pittsburgh, PA passed away on Monday, December 12, 2022 in Jacksonville, Florida. He was a Structural Steel Draftsman and he worked on several notable jobs such as the Matthews Bridge, the Government building downtown Jacksonville and Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean, Space Mountain and an apartment on Main Street. His enjoyment for Disney spread to his family and we have enjoyed staying and camping there since Fort Wilderness's opening day in November 1971. He loved fishing, golfing, camping, bowling, coaching softball, soccer and football. He took great pride in coaching and he loved taking many of us fishing. He also had a love for gardening and he did so many years along side his beloved wife, Delores Fry. Harry was preceded in death by his loving wife, his parents and his brother, Bob. He is survived by his sister, Grace, his daughters, Karen Crawford ( sp. David) and Julie Amos(sp. Mike); grandchildren Tammy Mitchko(sp. Tommy), Leon Amos and Michael Amos as well as his great grandchildren Cody Mitchko( sp. Kennedy), Braeden McBeth, Michael, Sovanary and Madden Amos.

The family will accept visitors on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, from 6 to 8 PM in the Arlington Park Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at 10:30 AM in the Arlington Park Chapel followed by internment in the Arlington Park Cemetery at 6920 Lonestar Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32211.
