Heather Kirsten McCaulley Mazzella passed away unexpectedly of heart failure on Saturday, June 16, 2018 in Jacksonville, Florida. She was 36 years old.

Heather was born September 9, 1981 in Tallahassee, Leon County, Florida, to parents Timothy and Deborah (Beverley) McCaulley. The family relocated to Jacksonville in 1986 and lived in the Arlington area. She attended Terry Parker High School and Florida Community College.

Heather loved books, music, movies and people. She loved to sing and play guitar.  She was a kind and compassionate person who greatly cared about others and went out of her way to help others.  She was employed with the Internal Revenue Service as a customer service call representative for many years.

Heather was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, William L. "Buddy" Beverley of Slaughterville Community, Ga.; her paternal grandparents, George and Regina McCaulley, of Roslyn, PA.

Heather is survived by a daughter, Amy N. Mazzella, a son, Noah P. Anderson, her fiancée, Daniel P. Anderson, her parents, Tim and Deborah McCaulley, and her brother, Devon A. McCaulley, all of Jacksonville; her maternal grandmother, Mary McClain Beverley of Slaughterville, GA,  and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends in Florida, Georgia and Pennsylvania.

A private graveside service will be held Friday, June 29, 2018 at 10:30 am in the Arlington Park Cemetery, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, FL 32211 with Pastor Marty Davey officiating. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held Labor Day weekend.  Details are pending.
