Obituary of Helen Brown

Helen E. Brown, 88, passed away May 1, 2010. She was a loving, caring mother and grandmother who was devoted to her family. Helen was a former member of Harvest Baptist Church and a very strong Christian. Her children describe her as a living example of the love of God. Helen was also an avid football fan and loved both NFL and college, especially the Florida Gators. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert W. Brown and is survived by her daughters, Leslie Kaiser and Alyson Kidder (Daryl); grandchildren, Michael Kaiser, Jill Lee (Clark), David Orta, Christine Orta and Stacey Kidder; great grandchildren, Jordan and Ashleigh Lee; brother, Lloyd J. Lucas; sister, Marge Fairlie and a loving extended family. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Baptist Hospital Downtown for the wonderful care they gave Helen. A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Arlington Park Funeral Home. Helen's family will greet friends one hour prior to the service.
