Obituary of Helen Willis
Helen Bernice Gillyard Willis passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at the residence of her daughter, Diane Willis Davis, in Chattanooga, TN. Mrs. Willis was born in Jacksonville, FL on January 14, 1933. She was a long time resident of Jacksonville Beach.
Helen was a very devoted wife, mother, sister, and daughter, and truly a friend to all who ever knew her. She was the wife of the late Leon Willis. She is survived by three daughters, one son, eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren, two brothers, and four sisters. She was a chartered member of the Jacksonville Beach Church of God.
The family and friends may view the body on Monday, January 5, 2009 in the chapel of Arlington Park Funeral Home (724-6384), 6920 Lone Star Rd from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Services remembering the life of Helen Willis will begin at 1:00 pm immediately following the viewing. Interment will be in Arlington Park Cemetery.
