Obituary of Herbert Gorman

Herbert N. Gorman, Jr. "Herbie", 58, passed away December 31, 1009. He was a lifelong resident of Jacksonville, Florida and since 1994 he owned the Neighborhood Tavern. Mr. Gorman was an avid Gators fan and had a passion for Harley motorcycles. He was well known in the biker community as Herbie. Survivors include his loving wife of 35 years, Rita Gorman; daughter, Shawn Gorman; brother, Fred Gorman (Lanie); Father-in-law Raymond Owens; nieces, Leslie, Allie and Melissa Gorman; great niece Sarah Gorman and a multitude of friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2010 at 11am in the chapel of Arlington Park Funeral Home (724-6384), with Rev. Jim Black, officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
