Horace Richard Brandt "Dickie", 77, passed away peacefully Thursday May 23, 2019 in Jacksonville, Florida. He was born in Jacksonville, Florida to Horace Marion Brandt and Vera Brandt on April 30, 1942.

Horace worked at the Jacksonville Shipyard, Atlantic Marine, His own Business Brandt Contracting, Nissan Motor Company, the Anheuser-Busch Plant, Huntley Jiffy, Little Champ, and Owned his own business Brandt Building Maintenance. He enjoyed His Family, NASCAR, Boating and Fishing, Family BBQ's, "Watching" TV on his couch, Country Dancing, and Fixing Cars.

Horace was preceded in death by both his Mother Vera, and his Father Horace. His Sisters Vera Brandt, Fran Bird, and Bonnie Jean Aumsbaugh, and his Brother Kenny Brandt. And one Great Grandchild Tylor Vaughan.

He is survived by; His Brother Robert "Bobby" (Vicky) Brandt, His Sister Mary Jane Brandt, Seven Children; Todd (Caroline) Brandt, Kevin (Wendy) Brandt, Connie (Scott) Waite, Pamela (Brian) McDonald, John (Melissa) Brandt, Kimberly (Tom) Van Hook, and Doug Brandt. Thirteen Grandchildren; Brandon (Ashton) Yates, Amy (Justin) Reed, Jessica Brandt, Bryan Prince, Richard (Jennifer) Short, Travis Brandt, Ashley McDonald, Amanda Short, Joshua McDonald, Kevin Brandt Jr, Colin McDonald, Ivy Brandt, and Ten Great Grandchildren; Andy, Dalton, Alexander, William, Brooklyn, Cooper, Isabella, Aubri, Chevy, Hailey and Marsha McKinlay Brandt.
