Ireneo Ladines Laguador Sr., 85, son of Francisco and Juanita Laguador, who was born September 18, 1939 in Luisiana, Philippines, passed away September 2, 2025 at Community Hospice Alice and T. O'Neal Douglas Center for Caring in Jacksonville, Florida. He served 20 years in the United States Navy and also retired from the Duval County School Board. He took pride in any job he served. He is remembered for his infectious smile, even through his illness and his generous spirit which touched the lives of everyone he met. He found immense joy in the simple moments of life - such as a family cookout, camping and fishing with family and friends, hanging with his homeboys at the barbershop, or cheering on his grandchildren. His Big Love was the foundation of our family and though he is gone, it will continue to hold us together. His laughter was a testament to a life filled with love and his memories will forever warm our hearts.

​Ireneo was preceded in death by his parents Francisco and Juanita Laguador, and Wanda Faye Laguador (wife). He is survived by his children: Linda Brown, Nita Camacho (Moises), and Dennis Laguador (Amber); grandchildren: Brittany, Jordan, Jamey (Allison), Haley, Eden, Denny; and four great grandchildren.​

​The family will receive family and friends for visitation on September 11, 2025 from 10am-11am at Arlington Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 6920 Lonestar Rd, Jacksonville, Fl 32211.

​A memorial service will take place at 11am on Thursday, September 11, 2025 in the Arlington Park Funeral Home Chapel.
