Isabelle Ford Rhodes, age 80, daughter of Eliza Southerland and Ted Simpson, who was born March 15, 1936 in Parrott, Virginia, passed away on August 7, 2016 at Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida.

Isabelle retired in 1989 from Blue Cross & Blue Shield after 25+ years. She loved spending time with her family, and just smiled from ear to ear over her grandchildren & great-grandchildren. She also loved her four legged feline fur babies. In her free time, she loved to do her needlework.

Isabelle was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years George H. (Dusty) Rhodes and mother Eliza Southerland.

She is survived by her daughter Jacqueline (Alan) Aubry. Grand children include Amanda (Joshua) Gurley, Vincent Aubry & Heidi (Kris) Molina. Great Grandchildren are Hunter Gurley & Olive Molina. Siblings include David (Violet) Ford of Belspring, VA., Delores (Billy) Neal of Christiansburg, VA., & Bertie (Jim) Belvin of Southport, NC.

The family will receive family and friends for a visitation at 2:00 PM, Thursday, August 11, with a memorial service starting at 3:00 PM at Arlington Park Funeal Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, FL., 32211, with Father Larkin officiating.
