Obituary of Ivene Trombly

Ivene L. Trombly, 94, passed away July 5, 2008. She was born in Fruitland, TN to Marcus and Laudela Lennon, she was a long time resident of Jacksonville and was a student of the first graduating class of Landon High School. Ivene moved to Washington D.C. in 1949 where she worked as a records management supervisor for the state department until her retirement in 1973. She moved back to Jacksonville and was a member of Parkwood Baptist Church. She moved to Orlando in 2001. Ivene is preceded in death by her son, Gaylord Trombly and her sisters, Thelma Evans and Kathleen Underwood. Survivors include her son Glenn Lennon Trombly; brother, Marcus Trombly and grandsons, Lon Trombly, Gaylord Trombly, Jr., and Alan Trombly. Services to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00am Thursday, July 10, 2008 in the chapel of Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road. The family will greet friends starting at 9:00am prior to the service.
