Obituary of Jacques Hoog

Jacques Daniel Hoog, 74, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2013. He was a loving husband, devoted father, grandfather and caring friend to all who knew him. Jacques was born on January 1, 1939 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Jacob and Rose Hoog. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Dolores Hoog of 40 wonderful years, and their daughter Judith Ann. Jacques was a member of the Knights of Columbus and as a veteran he was with the 82nd Airborne in the United States Army. He was also a member of the German American Club of Jacksonville and St. Augustine FL as well as a member of the Polish American Club of Jacksonville. Jacques is survived by his son Eric (Kimberly) Hoog; daughter Louise (Michael) Madden; grandchildren James Mann, Jacob Hoog, Katherine Hoog and Jack Madden; brother Fr. Eric Richard Hoog, CSsR and numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, for a visitation on Thursday, March 14, 2013 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm in the funeral home parlor and a Memorial Mass on Friday, March 15, 2013 at 11:00 at Resurrection Catholic Church, 3383 University Boulevard North.
