Obituary of James Bisset

James Edward Bisset went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, May 17, 2009, with his loving family by his side. He leaves memories of his love and devotion to his family and friends. He was born in Chicago, IL on July 30, 1917. Jim served in the Air Force during World War II, always proud to have had the opportunity to serve his country. He worked at Lynch Davidson Ford for over 40 years in the heavy duty truck department. Jim retired at the age of 73. He has been a faithful member of Arlington Baptist Church for the past 46 years serving as a deacon for many of those years. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Ann Bisset; daughters Jerri Ann Bisset, Denise Wallace and son-in-law Mike Wallace of Jacksonville; grandchildren Julie, Jennifer, Jude, Jodi, Brian and Carrie; seven great-grandchildren and many loving nieces, nephews, their families and friends. Jim Bisset's visitation will be held at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 20, 2009 and his Celebration of life will be held at Arlington Baptist Church on Thursday, May 21, 2009 at 2:00p.m. Interment will follow. In lieu of flowers family request donations be made to Arlington Baptist Church Trail Blazers Ministry.
