James Ralph Boggs, 84, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away peacefully while in hospice care on 5 August 2024. He is preceded in death by Mary Lee Boggs, and survived by Geraldine Cox-Boggs, children Angela Vaughn, Ralph R Boggs, Sandra Causey, James Boggs, and numerous grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

James was a loving father who took care of his family. A hard-working man, he built many roads in South Florida and here in Jacksonville for most of his adult life, but he always found time for his children and was always there for those who needed him. He was the patriarch of the Boggs family, and his absence leaves a void in our hearts.

We welcome all who knew him to join us in celebrating the life of a man who was loved deeply and will be missed.
