Obituary

James Curtis Case, Jr., 63, known to family and friends as "Curt" passed away at home
on July 6, 2020. Curt was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. He is preceded in death by
his parents, J.C. Case and Carolyn Case.

Shortly after finishing high school he enlisted in the United States Navy and served his country for 20 years. He continued to serve his country and support Veterans through his membership in VEMA (Veterans Enforcers Motorcycle Association). He was also a member of American Legion, Post 9.

Curt is survived by his wife of 32 years, Marrietta Case, son, Michael Minter (Sayward), granddaughter Megan of St. Johns, Fl; step-son Steven Boswell (Shellie), two grandsons Austin and Ryan of Apex, NC; his brother Roy Case (Carri), two nephews, Ryan and Doug Case of Jacksonville; his sister Tanita Tuttle of VA; and niece, Paula Pagonis of Oceanway.

Curt's biggest joys in life were spending time with his family, traveling around the country and riding his Harley Davidson. He was a devoted grandfather.  He will be laid to rest at the Jacksonville National Cemetery on September 4th.
