Cobb, James Henry, 72 of Jacksonville quietly slipped away with God's angels on Sunday, March 15, 2015.

James was born in Seneca, SC to the late Walter and Julia Cobb. During his lifetime her was a kind and generous man. He was a good father to his children, a devoted husband to his wife, and a good friend to all who knew him. He will be missed by all.

Those left to cherish Jim's loving memory are his wife, Stephanie Cobb; mother-in-law, Eleanor Jones; two daughters, Ms. Jane Cobb and Ms. Julia Cobb; three sons, Mr. James R. Cobb, Mr. Andre Williams and Mr. Bryan Gates; two brothers Mr. Walter Cobb and Mr. Eddie Walker; a sister, Ms. Loraine Sanders, a special nephew, Mr. Johnny Cobb, 18 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Jim was preceded in death by his brother Mr. Johnnie Walker and Sister Ms. Deloris Walker.

Funeral services for Jim will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 11:00am in the Arlington Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow in Arlington Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 5:00pm-7:00pm at the Arlington Funeral Home.
