James E. Johnston was born Lawrenceburg, TN on July 18, 1949, but was a long time resident of Jacksonville, FL. He graduated from Terry Parker High School and pursued a lifetime career in construction. James enjoyed being outdoors, especially hunting and fishing as lifelong hobbies. He is preceded in death by his beloved parents Charles and Frances Johnston. He is survived by his devoted sister, Janis Koerner; niece, Danielle Hodges; and many extended family members and longtime friends.
