James Michael McBride, 52, passed away peacefully Saturday, August 10, 2019 in Fernandina Beach, Florida. He was born in Beckley, West Virginia to James R. McBride and Sharon K. Redden-McBride on September 13, 1966.

Mike served in the Navy, in the wolf pack, on boats in South America as a diesel mechanic.  He was a devoted family man & loved watching his son's play high school & college football.  He was an avid fan of WVU.  He also loved to hunt & was a car enthusiast.

Mike was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon K Redden McBride & his sister, Sandra K McCallister, grandparents Drewry & Bertha McBride, & Edward & Christine Redden.

He is survived by; his wife Cynthia S Ferm-McBride; 2 sons, Sean M McBride & Ian R McBride; father, James R McBride & step mother Donna McBride; sister, Susan & (Benny) Hylton; step sister, Julie Dillinger-Bolen & (Arthur) Bolen; step brothers, Barry Dillinger & (Melissa), Billy & (Maria) Dillinger; numerous nephews nieces & cousins

A memorial service will be held in his honor 2pm, Saturday, August 17, 2019 at the First Baptist Church of Hilliard, 15850 County Rd 108, Hilliard, FL 32046  with Senior Pastor Josh Tillman officiating.

A second memorial service will be held 2pm, Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Weirwood Baptist Church in Beckley, West Virginia with Tom Lilly senior pastor officiating.
