James "Paul" Nelson 64, son of Billy Henry Nelson and Mildred Chandler, was born on August 8, 1953 in Jacksonville Florida. Passed away Friday February 16, 2018 in Jacksonville, Florida with his wife and children and one grandson by his side.

He graduated from Englewood High School in 1971. He enjoyed playing his guitar and singing with his family and friends.

Paul was preceded in death by his mother Mildred Nelson and his sister Jeannie Nelson.

He is survived by; His wife Janet Croft Nelson of 34 years. His Father Billy Henry Nelson, Two Children A Daughter Amanda Nelson Hendrickson (Alex), A Son Justin Nelson, Four Grandchildren Bradley, Brandon, Jarrod, Zoey and Two Great Grandchildren Jordan and Madison. Three Brothers Jay Nelson, John Nelson (Diane) Allen Nelson (Debbie), One Sister Martha Nelson (Kellie) many Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 22, 2018 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM in the Arlington Park Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held Friday February 23, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Arlington Park Funeral Home Chapel with his Brother Reverend Allen Nelson officiating.
