Obituary
James Daniel Reid, age 85, went peacefully home to his Lord November 27, 2023, in the care of Community Hospice.
He was born March 1st, 1938 in Waco Texas. He is survived by his loving wife Yvonne, four children Daniel Reid (Jessa), Donna Reid Barkley (Chad), Keith Reid (Teresa), and David Reid. Two stepchildren Vanessa Donohue, Joel Johnson (Karen), many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was proud of his honorable service to our country as a marine, serving during the Vietnam War. He was a long time member of First Baptist Church.
There will be a graveside service celebrating his life on Monday December 4th at 11:00am at Arlington Park Cemetery, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville FL.
In lieu of flowers sympathy may be expressed by signing the online registry.
