James Franklin Seals, Jr., beloved Brother, and Uncle went home to be with the Lord February 1, 2024. Mr. Seals was born in Jacksonville, Florida April 28, 1924. He died peacefully in his sleep February 1, 2024 at the age of 99, at St. Vincent's Hospital, Jacksonville Florida. He was the Son of James F. Seals, Sr., and Margaret (Geiger). He was preceded in death by his Father and Mother and siblings, William S. Seals and Nellie S. Bray. He is survived by his Sister, Agnes S. Martin and nieces and nephews: Sharon M. Barnes, Darryl Bannister, Bill (Christina) Seals, Jr., Pamela Seals, Jim (Jenny) Edge, Terri (Robert) Shad. He had 16 grand nieces and nephews and several great grand nieces and nephews, one Robert Shad IV, who Uncle Jim affectionately called "The General".

He was a Navy veteran serving during World II receiving an honorable discharge for his service to his Country. He worked as equipment procurement and supplier for Western Electric until his retirement.

He had an unquenchable love for his family, which he enjoyed having them around him. He loved God and was an inspiration for others. He enjoyed aviation, golf, music, and was a HAM operator.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service starting at 1:00pm on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at Arlington Park Cemetery in Jacksonville, Florida. Internment with military honors.
