James Louie (Lou) Tanner, 91, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away on September 20, 2020. He was born in Columbus, GA on April 25, 1929. James graduated from Jordan High School. Lou married his lovely wife , Evelyn on April 6, 1951 they were happily married for 69 glorious years. Lou was an Entrepreneur working in the printing industry for many years. He enjoyed playing poker, fishing, reading novels and scratch-off lottery tickets.

Lou is survived by his wife Evelyn: children Jenny, Brad and Terri: grandsons Zane and Carson, as well as his brother Arthur.

Lou is preceded in death by a sister, Imogene and two brothers, Joseph and Albert.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, September 24,2020 at Arlington Park Cemetery, located at 6921 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, Florida, 32211. Jimmy Duke and Rebecca Duke-Barton will be officiating. No visitation will be held.
