Obituary

James Kenneth Williams, 84, passed away on Tuesday September 21, 2021. Ken was born on June 25, 1937 and raised in Smyrna, Ga. He was predeceased by his parents James Herman Williams and Annie Rose Stephens, and his brother Allen.

Survived by his wife Carolle, sister Marie Motter; 2 sons, Keith and Andy; 7 grandchildren, Jordan (Grace) , Brittany (Tyler), Brooke, Mason (Angie), Blake, Celeste and Drew; 2 great grandchildren, Aurora and Jordan; daughter-in-law, Wendy and Angel.

After earning a BS in Pharmacy at Mercer University Ken moved to Jacksonville where his entrepreneurial spirit started as owner/pharmacist of Blanding Pharmacy. Followed by starting new companies: Clean World, Duval Floor Service, Ken Williams Builder and Skate World – inline and ice skating rinks, owner of Bullets Hockey Club. He was a past president of Westside Lions Club, past president of Southside Business Men's Club and the SENATS RV Club, member of Northeast Florida Builders Assoc., Southern Hockey League and Nutty Buddy's RV Club. Most of all Ken loved being a father, a Grandpa and a great Grandpa.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept 28 th at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 11665 Ft. Caroline Rd, Jacksonville, Fl 32225. A viewing will be held from 5-7 p.m., Monday, Sept 27 th , at Arlington Park Funeral Home at 6920 Lone Star Rd, Jacksonville, Fl 32211.
