Jane Lois Bruce, age 89, passed away at her home in Jacksonville, FL on Sunday, July 8, 2018. She was born on May 13, 1929 in Tharptown, Pennsylvania to the late Charles and Evelyn (Renn) Yost. After graduating from Coal Township High School, Jane married Charles L. Bruce on Sept. 27, 1952 and they spent 48 wonderful years together until his death in August 2001. Left to honor Jane and to remember her love are her five children; Charles E. Bruce (Carolyn), York, PA, Barbara L. Stambaugh, York, PA, Richard L. Bruce, Jacksonville, FL, Karen L. Vargo (Michael), Fountain Inn, SC and James L. Bruce, Windsor, PA; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. Jane was a member of Saint Paul's United Methodist Church in Jacksonville, FL.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 13, 2018 at 12pm in the Arlington Park Funeral Home Chapel, 6920 Lone Star Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32211 with Reverend James Jennings officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 13, 2018 from 11am to service time. Jane will be laid to rest next to Charles immediately following the services in the Arlington Park Cemetery.
