IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Janet M.
Geiger
September 22, 1934 – September 3, 2022
Janet Marie Elliott Geiger, went home to be with the Lord on September 3, 2022 where she was surrounded by family and love. She was 87 years young.
Mrs. Janet Geiger, daughter of Lawrence and Marie Elliott, was born in Covington, KY and married the one and only love of her life, Gary T. Geiger when she was 20 years old. She moved to Florida in 1958 where she was a devoted wife to her husband and loving mother to their five children.
Everyone who knew her said she was a loving, caring person who made everyone feel at home. She made friends easily, forming bonds with people from her local Holiday Hill Church, and Jim Fortuna Senior Center. She brought fun and laughter everywhere she went. She loved playing the organ, sharing the gospel of Jesus through hymns, and spending time with her friends and family playing cards. She continuously thanked Jesus for all of His blessings. She frequently said, "I drink from my saucer because my cup runneth over."
Her family and friends will miss her deeply as she wasn't just our mother, our grandmother, or our friend; she was an epitome of Jesus, here on earth!!
Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gary T. Geiger, her first born son, Russell Geiger, and her grandson, Paul Geiger.
She is survived by four daughters, Valerie Bentley (Les), Sandra Kirby (Anthony), Connie Easter, and Doris Rodriguez; one daughter-in-law, Laura Geiger; ten grandchildren; and seventeen great grandchildren.
On-line condolences can be made via www.arlingtonparkfuneralhome.com
Family requests that donations be made to Holiday Hill Church in lieu of flowers.
We may write our names in albums
We may trace them in the sand.
We may trace them in marble,
With a firm and skillful hand
But it's pages soon are soil,
And each name will fade away
Every monument will crumble,
Like all earthly hopes decay.
But dear friend, there is a album
Full of leaves so snowy white
Where names will never tarnish, but
Forever stay pure and bright-
In this book of God's Life Album
May your name be penned with care
And all who this may read
Have their names forever there.
