Janet Isabella Fitzpatrick Monegue, age 91, who was born, November 8, 1924 in Cornwall, Ontario, Canada passed away March 17, 2016 at the Consulate Health Care for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Jacksonville, Florida.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice and Ella (Kirk) Fitzpatrick, one brother and sister-in-law Colonel Donald R. Fitzpatrick (Norma) and one sister and brother-in-law Myrtle Fitzpatrick Williamson (Russ Williamson).

She is survived and dearly missed by; her loving husband of many years William (Woody) Monegue, her two daughters Lillian Diane Monegue Tull (Keith Tull) and Kerry Monegue Meyer, her three grandsons, Bryan Meyer (Karyn), AJ Meyer, and Joshua Meyer (Sarah) along with many nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews, great grand nieces and nephew. And by all the people that throughout the years she made part of the family by touching their lives so that they called her "mom" or "grandma" she opened her heart and home to everyone. And last but not least her beloved four legged companions Buddy and Jesse.

She was a labor and delivery nurse at Baptist Hospital (Baptist Medical Center) for many years. She was able to spend a very long retirement with her husband, playing golf, watching the boys play sports and grow in to wonderful men. She just loved being with her family and pets.

A Graveside Celebration of Life Service will take place at 1:00PM Monday March 21, 2016 in Arlington Park Cemetery, 6920 Lone Star Road Jacksonville, 32211.
