Janet Elaine Staton

Janet Staton, age 81 of Jacksonville, FL. passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 14, 2021.

Born in Muncie, Indiana, she was the daughter of late Everett & Gertie Mae Gilmer. Janet lived in Muncie for 36 years, where she married Orville C. Staton and raised five children.

In 1976, the family moved to Jacksonville, FL, where she lived and worked hard until her retirement.

Family, that's what Janet was all about.
She loved the simple things in life and to be surrounded by the ones she loved.

She is survived by her five children, Diane, Linda, Brad, David and Roger, ten grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
