Obituary of Janice Stuck
Janice Baggett Stuck died peacefully on May 26, 2008 at Shands Medical Center after a brief illness. Beloved wife of James Stuck of Jacksonville, FL. She was preceded in death by her mother Jean Baggett. Janice was born in Hopkinsville, KY. Janice is survived by her husband James Stuck; father Joe B. Baggett; sisters Marilyn Baggett Peacock, Belinda Baggett Campbell and Bridgette Williams; brothers Joe Bartlett Baggett and Joel Stuart Baggett.
Janice was a resident of Jacksonville, FL for 28 years. She was a calibration analyst for the Navy at Mayport Naval Station for 15 years. Over the next 13 years, she and James painstakingly restored a home board by board bringing it back to the original queen it was in the Springfield Historic District. How she did love that old house.
Janice loved to entertain during the holidays with grand feasts for all her friends and family, a tradition enjoyed by many. Quilting was her passion and the quilts made with love were a sight to behold. Each one was a grand prize winner. She loved reading and swimming as well.
