Obituary

Jean Loncle, 92, passed peacefully on December 28, 2020 while under Hospice Care at St. Vincent's Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida.  He was born July 5, 1928 in New Orleans, LA where he lived briefly before his family moved to Brittany, France.  He lived in France until he was 18 when he returned, with his brother, Pierre, to the United States to join the US Army.  Following his tour, he elected to remain in the US, where he married Carmen Pineda and had four children by the age of 30: Claude, Linda, Diane and Joy. He became a Border Patrol Agent and later joined the Immigration and Naturalization Department as a supervisor. His career offered extensive travel around the country, as well as to far-reaching places such as Greece and southern Asia. He later wed Eileen Benjamin and they have one daughter, Fran.

He is survived by his brother, Pierre Loncle, both of his wives, his five children and his four grandchildren.

Graveside Services will be held at Arlington Park Cemetery, 6921 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, Florida, 32211, Wednesday, January 6th at 12:00 PM.  Military Honors will immediately follow.
