Jeanette E. Gregory passed peacefully into her Heavenly home on August 25, 2021.  She was 99 years old.  She was born on January 11, 1922 in Jacksonville, Florida. She was the daughter of Walter A. Ellis and Lillian A. Ellis.  She was a lifetime member of the Baptist faith.   She enjoyed teaching Sunday school, singing and was the Choir director at the Murray Hill Baptist Church in her youth.  In her later years she moved her membership to Mandarin Baptist Church. She was a member of the Senior Choir and the Oh so popular Senior Class.  She was a member of the Red Hat Society.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband Reginald L. Gregory.  They were married on November 22, 1941. She was also preceded by her Sister, Lillan G. Thompson and her husband Reginald S. Thompson Sr.  She is survived by her niece Alice Tracie Owens and family and her nephew Reginald S. Thompson Jr. and his family.

Her visitation will be held at Arlington Park Funeral Home on Friday, September the 3 ^rd at 11:00 AM, with her Memorial service following at 12:00 PM.

Our family would like to give special thanks to the Nurses and Chaplin of VITAS  Healthcare Hospice & Palliative Care of St. Augustine.  All the Loving care was greatly appreciated.  In lieu of flowers the family asked that any donations be made to VITAS.
