Jeanette Laney, beloved wife and mother, passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, November 5, 2022. Mrs. Laney is pre-deceased by her husband, Carroll Laney, her parents, Jake and Ruby Hart, and half brother, Randy Hart. She is survived by a son, Eric Laney, brothers, Dale Hart and Robert Hart, sisters, Joyce Hartley and Joan Jessup, and a half-brother, David Hart. Mrs. Laney was a kind and loving mother and wife, and a compassionate, kind and giving friend to many. She was loved by many. Mrs. Laney worked as a teacher and media specialist for the Duval County School System for 27 years. Mrs. Laney was also very active in her church having taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School, played the organ, played the piano, and sang in the choir.
