Obituary of Jeanette Wedenfeller

Jeanette B. Wedenfeller, 80, passed away peacefully at the Bailey Hospice Center in St. Augustine on July 17, 2012. She was born in Statesville, NC, resided in Jacksonville, FL for 34 years where she retired from the USPS as a rural route carrier in 1988. Jeanette has been a resident of St. Augustine for the past 24 years. Jeanette is preceded in death by her son, Billy Joe Wedenfeller and his wife Marlene. She is survived by her husband William "Bill" Wedenfeller of St. Augustine; daughters, Nancy (Claude) Whittle of Marietta, GA and Patty (Mark) Peterson of Jacksonville, FL; son, Ken (Pam) Wedenfeller of Jacksonville, FL; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and brothers, Homer (Betty) Bass and Jack Bass both of Statesville, NC. Family will receive friends on Friday, July 20, 2012 from 6-8:00pm at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, FL. Her funeral will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Grace Lutheran Church, 12200 McCormick Road in Jacksonville. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Bailey Family Center for Caring, 200 Health Park Boulevard, St. Augustine, FL 32086.
