Jeanne Marie Campbell Bowles, 88, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away June 4, 2018 after a lengthy illness. She was born July 7, 1929 in Cambridge, Massachusetts to Joseph Edward and Helena Gertrude McGrath Campbell. Jeanne graduated from Somerville (MA) High School and the Chandler School for Women in Boston, MA. Jeanne retired after many years in Personnel from J. C. Penney, Regency Square, Jacksonville, FL. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. Jeanne is survived by daughters Kathleen Bowles and Karen Campbell (Terry); sons Kevin Bowles (Carey) and Steven Bowles; grandchildren Rebecca, Ryan (Melissa Jimenez) and Kristen (Richard Robinson) Campbell; Logan Bowles; and Haley and Sara Bowles; great grandchildren Bradley and Emrie Robinson and Mia and Michaela Jimenez-Campbell; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, family, friends and pets all of whom she treasured dearly. Jeanne was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Charles; her parents, Joseph and Helena Campbell; and brothers, Joseph, John (Jack), and James (Jimmy) Campbell. A debt of gratitude and thanks goes out to Chancellor Simmons, her long-time caregiver; Nanci Keating and Sandy Terrazano for their support and guidance; and the staff at Life Care Center and Community Hospice of Northeast FL, as well as all of her physicians for their health and medical expertise. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, FL 32211. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at 10:00 am at Christ the King Catholic Church, 742 Arlington Rd., N., Jacksonville, FL 32211. Internment will immediately follow the services at Arlington Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jeanne's name to the Alzheimer's Association of Northeast FL, Community Hospice of Northeast FL or the Jacksonville Humane Society.
