Jeanne Marie Gilmore, age 91, daughter of Ellsworth and Myra Whitsett Stuchul, who was born, March 3, 1925 in Canton, Ohio passed away May 5, 2016 at Consulate Nursing Home in Orange Park, Florida.
In early 1943 Jeanne joined the WAAC/WAC and served like countless others as a Clerk Typist and Office Lead through the end of World War 2. For the next twenty-five years her focus of service was to her family and community.
As an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saint Jeanne invested much time and effort in developing fundamental spiritual concepts into "real-world" application and practice, particularly with children, but no one was exempt from her enlightenment.
Jeanne returned to the "fulltime" workforce as a School Secretary at Lone Star Elementary in 1970 for ten years. Her talents again returned to focus on those she loves in Family and Community, particularly those emotionally or mentally different. She was a patience, adept teacher those innate abilities blessed the lives of so many.
Jeanne was preceded in death by William Robert Gilmore (Eldest Son) and Richard William Gilmore (Husband of 62 years).
She is survived by; Jan Gillen, Don Gilmore, Vicki Jammes and Mandi Gilmore.
The family will receive guests for a Visitation, 11am to 12pm, Monday, May 9, 2016 at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32211. A Celebration of Life Service will take place at 12 noon in Arlington Park Funeral Home Chapel with HPGL, Carl Luke officiating.
