Obituary of Jessie Lewis

Jessie Ann Hallicy Lewis, 86, went to be with her Lord and savior on July 28, 2011 in Jacksonville, Florida, after an extended illness. She is remembered a devoted sister, aunt, and friend. She is preceded in death by her parents, A.H. and Sarah Louise Platt Hallicy; brothers, Buddy, Kenneth, and Everett Hallicy; and her twin sister, Bessie Agee. She is survived by her loving sisters, Loretta Orndoff, Hazel Tyner, Betty Ezell, and Ethel Glover; numerous nieces, nephews, greats and grands. Family will receive friends on Sunday, July 31, 2011 in the chapel of Arlington Park Cemetery and Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road from 3-5:00pm. A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 1, 2011 at 2:00pm at Arlington Park Cemetery; with Pastor Chris Drum of First Baptist Church of Baldwin officiating.
