Jewell Ivey Smith, 84 of Jacksonville passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2015. Granny Smith was born on June 19, 1930 in Fairmont, NC. Jewell and her husband Howard moved to Jacksonville in 1955.
Jewell is predeceased by her husband, 4 sons and a daughter. She is survived by her son Dewey Smith and daughters Gayle Murray (Frank) and Debbie Weber (Loyd), 18 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Arlington Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Rd.
