Jimmy D. Parnell, Sr. age 78 passed away on December 15, 2018 in Jacksonville Florida.  He was born in Jacksonville Florida on April 14, 1940.

He served in the United States Army for three years. He was employed by Winn Dixie as a Refrigeration Tech.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his two sons, Jimmy Parnell, Jr. of Middleburg Florida and Troy Mitchell Parnell of Hull, Georgia.  He has 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

A Graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 20 at 11:00 AM at the Arlington Park Cemetery, 6920 Lone Star Rd, Jacksonville, Florida. Jimmy's family will begin greeting guests at 10:00 a.m. in the Arlington Park Funeral Home Chapel.  Arrangements are under the direction and care of the Arlington Park Funeral Home (904) 724-6384.
