Joan Potter Bliss, 71, passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2018 in Jacksonville, Florida. She was born in Jacksonville, Florida to Percival Warren Potter, Jr. and Marjorie Pearl Gilmore on March 31, 1947.

She loved shopping, especially with her four daughters, decorating her home with many loving touches, the Jaguars, and family activities, usually birthday parties. Her family was the center of her life. Joan was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Geraldine Pruitt.

She is survived by her brother Warren "Tito" Potter, her sister Barbara "Babs" Parrish, her loving husband of 51 years, Richard, their seven children and spouses, and twenty grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held in her honor at a later date.
