Obituary of Joe Adamczak

Joseph J. Adamczak, born 87 years ago in Buffalo, NY, died October 11, 2012. Joe was married to the late Pauline (Bayzat) Adamczak for 40 years. They lived in Jacksonville until recently when he moved to Orlando to be closer to his son and family. Joe was a World war II veteran and the recipient of a Purple Heart. He was a loyal postal worker for 30 years, an avid golfer, card player and wood worker. He and Paula were founding members of Resurrection Catholic Church in Jacksonville. He is survived by his son Anthony (Susan) and grandchildren Jenna and Ryan of Maitland as well as many extended family members in Canada. A memorial service will be held in the chapel at Arlington Park Cemetery, 6920 Lone Star Rd, Jacksonville on Sunday, October 21 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Arlington Community Services, 1450 Rogero Road, Jacksonville, FL 32211.
