Obituary of John Boyett

John Richard Boyett, 66, entered into rest on October 29, 2012. He is remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. He was born on February 6, 1946. John proudly served in the US Army in Vietnam. He was a world traveler and treasured being with his family. John had an invaluable sense of humor and enjoyed making those around him smile. He was able to make a stranger into a lifetime friend in an instant. John is survived by his wife of 25 beautiful years, Joan; sons, John R. (Candee) Boyett, Jr. and Randy Boyett; daughter, Allison (Tim) DeWitt; grandchildren, Kemberley, Taylor and Morgan; great granddaughter, McKenzie; brother, Eugene Boyett, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Family will receive friends on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, FL from 6-8:00pm. His funeral with military honors will be held at the funeral home on Friday, November 2, 2012 at 10:00am.
