John Richard Carr peacefully left this world behind on December 13, 2020 to begin his homeward journey and reconnect with his loving wife, Cynthia Carr, of 69 years. Dick was born on July 1, 1930. He passed away in Jacksonville, FL at the age of 90. Dick was a devoted husband and father who enjoyed life and spending time with his family. Dick was a veteran from the Korean War and also a strong Christian.
Dick is survived by his three children and spouses, Nancy and Jon Kyle, Richard and Edward Carr, and Ann and Michael King; and two granddaughters Kathy Kyle and Alex and Aaron LeBlanc; and a great grandson, Finn LeBlanc.
A Celebration of his Life will take place Friday, December 18, 2020 at 1:00 at Lakewood Presbyterian Church for immediate family. The service will be livestreamed for others to join either via Lakewood Presbyterian Church Facebook page for congregation members as well as on our website.
