Obituary of John Crawley

John Wesley Crawley, 88, passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2010. He was born in Littleton, NC, and has resided in Jacksonville for 50 years. Mr. Crawley retired from Communications at CSX. He was an active member of Terry Parker Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Maivene Crawley and daughter Jane Carol Crawley-Skipper. Survivors include his two daughters, Patricia Ann Harrell and her husband Homer H. Harrell, Jr. of Bainbridge, GA and Ruth Crawley Salter and her husband Richard M. Salter of Jacksonville; six grandchildren, Kimberly Harrison, Homer H. Harrell, III, Patricia Mulheron, Lara Marie Stucki (Randy), Stephanie Jeanne Colsant (Joseph) and John Wesley Salter (Kim); twelve great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Saturday, April 10, 2010 at Terry Parker Baptist Church, 7024 Merrill Road. The family will receive friends from 10:00AM until service time at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Mr. Crawley's name to Terry Parker Baptist Church.
