Obituary of John Moore

Retired CPO John Phillip Moore, Jr. passed away peacefully, June 4, 2011. He was born in Barton, West Virginia on March 18, 1938 to the late John and Cleo Moore, Sr. John is preceded in death by the love of his life Katie. He is survived by his daughters Peggie and Janet (Jack); grandchildren Scott (Mary), Sabrina; siblings Nathan, Danny (Sharon), Janice, Pamela Sue, Rondall and numerous nieces and nephews. John spent twenty plus years in the United States Navy. He traveled the world and loved his life and country. He is also survived by his buddy Wahoo. John will be missed by everyone. The family would like to thank the Doctors and nursing staff from Baptist Beaches Hospital for the compassionate and tender care they gave. Family will receive friends at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and a funeral service will follow on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at 1:00pm.
